What is Awana?
AWANA is a global, Bible-based kids program that helps children know, love, and serve Jesus. Each week, kids enjoy games, small groups, and Bible teaching while memorizing Scripture in a fun, engaging way.
Who can attend?
At Roper Mountain Baptist Church, AWANA is open to children from Preschool (age 3) through 5th Grade.
When does AWANA meet?
AWANA meets every Sunday evening at 5:00 PM starting September 7. Each club night lasts about 90 minutes.
What happens during a typical AWANA night?
Each club night includes:
Game Time – High-energy team games that build friendships and teamwork.
Handbook Time – Small groups where leaders help kids learn and recite Bible verses.
Large Group Time – Bible teaching, music, and life application.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! AWANA is a great place to invite friends. We love meeting new kids and families.
